Our processing and shipping methods ensure flowers are delivered efficiently and fresh every time. Nicomen Nursery carefully selects crops for quality, maturity and colour before they are prepared for shipping.

Two Convenient Ordering Options for Fresh-Cut Flowers

We offer two purchase options:

United Flower Growers: Nicomen Nursery is affiliated with United Flower Growers. Place your orders through United Flower Growers’ auction service, located in Burnaby, BC. Offsite locations can use the remote auction service.
Direct orders: Nicomen Nursery welcomes direct orders. We will gladly make recommendations based on your needs. [Contact us for more information]

Nicomen Nursery takes the highest care to ensure that you are satisfied with your order. Please allow sufficient time for flower delivery and preparation. Schedule your flower delivery 3-4 days before they are needed. We require minimum orders of $100.

Caring for your Flowers

Remove foliage that will sit beneath the water line
Cut 1-2” off the stems, preferably underwater to prevent air intake and increase water absorption into the stem.
Place flowers in clean water at room temperature
Change water every 2-3 days as necessary

Ordering Biomass

Nicomen Nursery supports the use of new clean-burning biomass fuels. We welcome direct inquiries on Miscanthus orders. Miscanthus is a CO2 neutral plant-based fuel that is on the forefront of ecological reform.
