Peonies
Classic Fragrant Flowers: The Peony’s Intrigue
Peonies were historically grown as ornamental plants for their large, fragrant flowers. Similar to the Rose, Peonies have full double flowers and are available in countless varieties. Nicomen Nursery carries the most popular Peony colours, including red, many shades of pink, coral and white.

Peonies are naturally long-lived and low maintenance. They have strong stems and deeply-lobed leaves, making them easy to arrange and display. Interestingly, the Peony is a traditional floral symbol of China: Together with the plum blossom, the Peony has been used extensively in Chinese culture as a national emblem.
Peonies are also known for their rich scent. Floriculturists have categorized Peonies by their fragrance types, rose, lemon, musk and honey.
